Taxi Control: A GPS-Based Taximeter App for Android
Taxi Control is a free GPS-based taximeter app developed by Energy Tech for Android devices. It allows users to transform their mobile devices into a real taximeter for their vehicles, providing them with the amount of trips made with fully programmable rates protected by an access code. Passengers can also use this app to verify the amount charged on a trip.
The app offers several features for configuring day and night rates with automatic switching or five different rates with manual switching. You can set the hour and minute for the rate to be applied, the amount of start of the trip, the amount to be charged for every xx number of meters traveled, the distance to travel for each unit of charge, and the amount to be charged for every xx seconds of stopped vehicle. You can also set the time of the vehicle stopped for each collection unit.
In addition to these features, Taxi Control can deliver detailed travel reports with daily and monthly information that can be shared by email and/or WhatsApp. The app also allows for the connection of a Bluetooth printer.
